Today I will learn you how you can save 5 minutes per day by using bulkactions in browsers. 5 minutes a day, meaning 35 minutes a week, meaning alot of time of your life! You surely recognize the situation that you want to open multiple browser tabs on the same moment, this can be for various purposes. Your work, your favorite websites, website testing, etc.

Here is how to do it:

First install the plugin comform the web browser you are using. for Firefox I recommend using
open multiple locations and for Chrome I use OpenList. After this has installed and you have restarted the browser.
You can start opening multiple locations with one action.

The add-on adds a new entry to the Firefox File menu, called Open Multiple Locations. Clicking on that menu entry opens a new window in the browser with a text area.

Text can be pasted into that area. The extension supports two different types of data. First, a list of urls that can be separated by spaces, commas or line breaks. Another option is to paste text into the input field. Once you have clicked the second radio button “Above box contains URL included in a text”. Optional you can also put a interval between opening of the different tabs. Next you hit ook and all the desired content will be displayed.

URL Data sources

for the firefox plug-in you have the option to filter urls from a text, or just paste a copy seperated string, the chrome plug-in expects to have a string as input.
