we use IPinfodb for our College Classifieds website, but we noticed that this API is not very accurate when using a mobile device. Has anyone else noticed that?? For instance, I just clicked the “Get Location” link in your example while using my phone and it says I’m in Tennessee when I’m actually in Michigan.
This is correct. We only ported this service to a AS3 version. The working / accuracy is provided by the folks over at IPInfodb. I know there are way better services available, but mostly also not free of use. Sorry
