Today I am promoting a great Rich Internet Application called Sliderocket , the tools enables you to make online presentations everywhere you are ,
just by creating a free account on their website. Once you’re account is activated you are ready to use the free tool.
this online tool is very easy to use and gives results in minutes , as a windows user I don’t like powerpoint ,
and I refuse to use it when preparing presentations. so sliderocket gives me the oppurtinity to make
professionial presentations in minutes . I used this tool a couple of times before and the beta
that is available for the public now is really a great tool. In previous versions there was not
that good support for text , aligning and editing, but those bugs are now fixed.
How does it work?
First you choose a name for the presentation ,next select a theme which you find approperiate ,
then click ok and you can start working on the presentation
Once the empty presentation is loaded, you have entered the main application ,on your left you have the choise of
the different functions, which you can compare with the flash interface ,
it is all very clear and easy . There are alot of cool things that you can do inside this editor
- insert images from flickr
- insert charts
- insert tables
- insert videos
- insert famous quotes
as you see there are alot things that sliderocket offers , and it is all free, so what I suggest is to just try
the tool and leave a comment here, if you like to share your experiences.There are also buisness packages
of sliderocket, which include a desktop version of the webapplication and extra storage space .
As a free user sliderocket gives you 250 mb of presentation storage space, all your presentations
can be saved and easily reached using the presentation tab
An extra feature which windows users would like is the ability to import powerpoint presentations ,
attention! When you are doing this the powerpoint slides would be converted to images
which makes them non editable inside sliderocket

One quick clarification, our new PowerPoint importer does allow you to import editable objects so that you can continue to edit your PowerPoint using SlideRocket’s powerful authoring tools then go on to use the collaboration, sharing, HD web meetings, security, central library (now with folders) and of course analytics to measure your presentations.
